Financial Statement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Statement Specialist to join our organization in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of experience in articleship and 2 years of work experience with a CA firm.

The successful candidate will have legal knowledge related to Income Tax and GST, be able to handle a team of 2-3 people, and be proficient in preparation of financial statements, GST return filing, TDS and TCS computations and return filing, handling GST, Service Tax and Income Tax litigations, and filing of Income Tax Returns.

The role involves participation in departmental assessments, scrutiny matters, MCA compliances, and RERA-related assignments, and independently handling all audit work and client queries for clients with an annual turnover exceeding ₹50 crore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements;
  • File GST returns (monthly, quarterly, and annually);
  • Compute and file TDS and TCS returns;
  • Handle GST, Service Tax, and Income Tax litigations;
  • File Income Tax Returns;
  • Conduct audits – Tax Audit, Statutory Audit, and GST Audit;
  • Participate in departmental assessments, scrutiny matters, MCA compliances, and RERA-related assignments;
  • Independently handle all audit work and client queries for clients with an annual turnover exceeding ₹50 crore;
  • Handle a team of 2-3 people;
  • Have legal knowledge related to Income Tax and GST.

Candidate Profile:

  • Eligibility: Must have completed articleship, have legal knowledge related to Income Tax and GST, be proficient in handling GST, Service Tax, and Income Tax litigations, and have experience working with a CA firm;
  • Knowledge Requirement: Must have legal knowledge related to Income Tax and GST;
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years articleship and 2 years of work experience with a CA firm;
  • Additional Preference: Apply only if you are a candidate residing in Mumbai;
  • Leave Policy: 15 days study leave, plus exam days;
  • Pay: ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month depending on the experience;
  • Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus;
