Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality content services. As Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a group of operators who perform technical quality control and ingest content into our platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily task prioritization and ensuring all team members are utilized effectively.
  • Acting as a hands-on contributor while guiding the team – actively participating in production tasks, staying updated on process changes, and driving issue resolution to enhance operational efficiency and output quality.
  • Scheduling priorities according to daily work schedules and delivery service level agreements.
  • Analysing weekly forecast and progress reports of the team and raising any concerns to management.
  • Analysing monthly delivery metrics and advising management on performance and other issues.
  • Maintaining and presenting team metrics and monthly quality performance at individual and team level.
  • Supporting management to highlight operational risks and areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring compliance with standard operating procedures and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Overseeing implementation of quality procedures, ensuring it aligns with SOPs and IT security standards set by the company, rolling out new procedures, keeping the team updated on client specifications, and following up on the same to ensure that everyone is on the same page, always.
  • Overseeing workflow and analysing error trends, providing suggestion for corrective/preventive actions, working on root cause analysis for errors, and providing targeted feedback or training.
  • Identifying areas of the process that can be changed and focusing on improving overall efficiency of the team.
  • Addressing or escalating any issue that might hinder production.
  • Responsible for regular one-to-one sessions with employees, coaching, and mentoring them.
  • Leading employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Responsible for resource management, ensuring resources are available to meet production requirements.
  • Constant effort towards improvement of direct reports by nominating learning and development courses and motivating them to stay engaged.
  • Driving cross-training and other upskilling initiatives for the team.
  • Actively participating in team-building activities to promote camaraderie.
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks to optimise workflows.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact in a designated shift.
  • Communicating progress, concerns, and success effectively to stakeholders.
