Architectural Draftsperson - Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Draftsperson to assume a project lead role in our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving architectural drafting projects from concept through to completion.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive architectural drawings and details for high-rise building projects, incorporating accurate coordination with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and produce detailed drawing sets using AutoCAD, ensuring adherence to company standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure smooth project execution, maintain quality control, and mentor junior drafting staff to develop their skills.
  • Review and redline drawings to guarantee accuracy, precision, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in preparing project specifications, reports, and technical documents as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering is essential for this role.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, preferably with a strong focus on high-rise architectural projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is crucial, with a demonstrated ability to create precise and detailed architectural drawings.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials relevant to high-rise construction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Additional proficiency in software like SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino is an asset.
