Data Architect

CoffeeBeans Consulting is a tech consulting firm that enables organizations to become AI-ready by structuring their data efficiently across various sources and leveraging AI-driven solutions.

We are looking for a Data & Solution Architect who can design, lead, and deliver scalable, future-proof data and AI solutions for our global clients. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with clients to understand business goals, technical constraints, and AI/data maturity levels.
  • Translate requirements into scalable solution blueprints across data, analytics, AI, and cloud platforms.
  • Define end-to-end architecture covering ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, ML/AI, and visualization needs.
  • Ensure designs meet security, compliance, and governance requirements.

Data Architecture & Engineering responsibilities include:

  • Architecting modern data platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses) using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.
  • Designing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures, and real-time analytics solutions.
  • Defining data models, metadata management, and master data strategies.
  • Implementing data governance frameworks (e.g., CDMC, DAMA DMBOK).

AI & MLOps Enablement responsibilities include:

  • Integrating ML/Gen AI solutions into the data platform architecture.
  • Working with Data Scientists to operationalize AI models using MLOps best practices.
  • Evaluating LLM integration, vector databases, and AI agents within enterprise architectures.

Leadership & Delivery responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership to engineering teams.
  • Reviewing designs, code, and deployment plans for quality and scalability.
  • Working closely with client stakeholders, delivery managers, and CTOs to ensure success.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or solution architecture roles and possess hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL/NoSQL databases, streaming technology (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis), and experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent modern data stack tools are also required. Additionally, familiarity with AI/ML architectures, MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow), and Gen AI frameworks (LangChain, RAG pipelines) is beneficial.
