Manual Automation QA Tester Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Automation QA Tester to join our team. As a key member of the quality assurance process, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards in software testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You will work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test and validate software functionality, identify issues, and ensure that products meet user expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test documentation to ensure proper tracking of testing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
  • Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.
