We are seeking a seasoned Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to oversee the management, security, and optimization of our SQL Server environments in both on-premises and Azure SQL settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage SQL Server databases across on-premises and Azure SQL infrastructure.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor high-availability and cost-efficient Azure SQL Subscription services.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring to ensure optimal system efficiency.
  • Configure and maintain disaster recovery, backups, and high-availability solutions to minimize data loss.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD and database lifecycle management initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience as a senior-level SQL Server DBA.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL Subscription management.
  • Proven expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting database issues, and maintaining robust security configurations.
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
