Job Title: SQL Database Administrator

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex corporate IT infrastructure role.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting failover clustering, SAN replication, database replication (snapshot and transactional), SQL high availability technologies, analysis services, integration services, and reporting services.
  • Experience with performance tuning and management specifically related to SQL Server is essential.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and writing complex queries is necessary.
  • Familiarity with critical technologies like MS Exchange, Active Directory, operating systems (MS Server & Citrix hosting), AV protection, monitoring, and configuration systems (SCOM, SCCM), virtualization (VMware), storage (HP SANs), and support, IT security (Websense, F5, and Dell Secureworks), and web infrastructure.
  • Red gate SQL Monitor and Redgate SQL Backup skills are required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working within a financial services organization is mandatory.
  • Data/DevOps experience including continuous integration is desirable.
  • Migrating between versions of SQL Server is an expected skill.
  • Providing 24/7 production and development support for business-critical applications and servers is an essential requirement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
