Job Title: District Co-ordinator

We are hiring talented individuals to support the effective, on-ground implementation of Skill Development Projects in selected districts of Maharashtra.

This role involves direct field engagement, data and documentation management, coordination with training partners and district administration, and regular monitoring of training centers.

  1. Day-to-day coordination with all skill training partners/centres in the assigned district to track training schedules, implementation progress, trainee attendance, and compliance with program guidelines.
  2. Ensure accurate, timely, and complete collection, verification, and organization of all required centre as well as student data and documentation related to trainees, training progress, assessments, and center performance.
  3. Liaise regularly with the district administration, including the district magistrate's office and other relevant departments, to submit reports, resolve queries, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  4. Monitor training activities through scheduled and surprise visits to training centers, assess the quality of instruction, infrastructure, and attendance, and escalate any issues or deviations to the central team.
  5. Support the coordination and smooth conduct of assessments with centres, and candidates to ensure assessments are completed on time and without operational challenges.
  6. Maintain positive and professional working relationships with training partners, local stakeholders, and community representatives to support mobilization efforts and resolve on-ground issues promptly.
  7. Travel extensively within the district to ensure strong field presence, provide hands-on support to training centers, and collect real-time feedback to inform strategic decisions.
Eligibility & Requirements:
  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably with experience in development sector, government schemes, education, skill development, or social welfare programs.
  • 1–3 years of relevant field experience in project implementation, coordination, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within a government or non-profit context.
  • Candidate must be currently residing in the district for which they are applying.
  • Fluency in Marathi (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is mandatory; candidates should be able to manage data reporting and basic analysis.
  • Must own a personal laptop and have basic digital literacy to perform daily reporting, documentation, and communication.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the district to visit training centers and meet with stakeholders.
  • Travel to Pune Head Office for regular updates and co-ordination with Head Office Team.
