Job Title: BIM Project Coordinator

The BIM Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the project team, responsible for overseeing all BIM-related services and conducting thorough quality check reviews. This individual serves as the primary contact for BIM matters within the team, acting as an interface between Discipline BIM Leads, Design Team Leaders, and the Digital Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with Discipline BIM Leads and Design Team Leaders to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient model coordination.
  • Maintaining and updating the BIM Execution Plan (BxP) in conjunction with the Digital Delivery Manager, Client, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Implementing BIM methodology in line with project requirements and established standards.
  • Conducting regular comprehensive reviews of model quality and compliance with BIM requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting quality check reports and status updates based on BIM data transfer.
  • Conceptualizing and implementing project-specific training programs as needed.
  • Organizing and documenting BIM meetings (BIM Audit) to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Validating model contents through test runs and ensuring timely completion of BIM services.

Qualifications

  • Hold a degree or diploma in engineering from an accredited institution and possess a minimum of 5 years of BIM experience in the architectural, engineering, consulting, or construction industry.
  • Demonstrate appreciation for design across multiple disciplines and understand traditional project deliverables.
  • Be familiar with digital delivery software and standards, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), REVIT, and NAVIS.
  • Exhibit expertise in integrating multiple BIM models across various software platforms.
  • Display exceptional facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence, lead, and manage effectively.
  • Possess excellent planning and analytical skills, along with strong oral and written communication abilities.
