Job Description

Imagine a role where you can make a tangible impact, working closely with financial institutions to identify and prevent illicit activities. This position requires a seasoned professional who can demonstrate strong logical thinking and decision-making skills.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and delivery of various money mule risk management requirements. You will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of staff training programs on detecting money mule schemes, as well as contributing to enhancing quality, reporting, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial crime, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Customer Due Diligence. They should also have practical knowledge of financial crime processes, including transaction monitoring and customer screening. A degree holder with a proven track record in banking or risk functions is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of decisions relating to money mule solutions and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Drive a focus on risk outcomes, ensuring each review results in a sensible assessment of the risk and relevant recommendations.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to established standards.
