Job Description

The Senior Statistical Programmer will be responsible for providing programming support for clinical trials. This involves creating and maintaining project timelines, coordinating and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of activities for assigned support programmers, and preparing programming specifications for SDTM, ADaM, and other derived datasets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all required areas of a Statistical Programmer II, including SAS programming, medical terminology, and conduct and analysis of clinical trials. They will also have good knowledge of relevant industry data standards, such as CDISC SDTM, ADaM, etc.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field; work experience may be substituted for degree
  • Minimum of 4 years direct SAS programming experience in pharmaceutical development or CRO environment
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology and conduct and analysis of clinical trials
  • Knowledge of relevant industry data standards (e.g. CDISC SDTM, ADaM, etc.)
