Job Title: Computer Education Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver instruction, guidance, and support to students in computer education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure lesson plans are followed along with the necessary resources and activities.
  • Maintain a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
  • Employ effective pedagogical styles to cater to different aptitudes, learning styles, and interests of students.

Student Administration:

  • Maintain discipline according to school rules and disciplinary systems.
  • Promote maximum student participation and assist students in improving study habits.
  • Monitor basic hygiene and health matters for each child.

Classroom Functioning:

  • Create an effective learning environment through displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with parents and provide feedback.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
  • Adhere to and implement school policies.
  • Conduct quarterly stock checks of teaching aids.
  • Participate in professional development through internal and external courses and events.
  • Attend meetings convened by the principal and coordinators.
  • Liaise and collaborate with resource persons and others.

Work Relations:

  • Interface with the principal on academic issues.
  • Interface with co-teachers and other staff members as required.
  • Interface with administrators, finance, HR, and technology for operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree or B.Ed. qualification.
