Job Overview

As a Staff Engineer on our Platform Engineering team at Experian, you will play a critical role in designing and developing our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our cloud-based services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure services using AWS cloud.
  • Develop and maintain platform tools and services to enable product engineering teams to deploy and run their applications on cloud.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with other Experian systems.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud and networking security.
  • Proficient in Python and/or Java programming languages.
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery/deployment (CI/CD) practices and frameworks.
  • Good understanding of observability into APIs and services using various tools like Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
  • Experience with container orchestration services like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS ECS, AWS EKS.
