Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer with strong Azure experience to manage, support and optimize our on-premise and cloud-based server environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, monitoring and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and configuring and managing services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).

This role involves:

  • Administering, monitoring and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
  • Configuring and managing services in Microsoft Azure.
  • Managing server patching, performance tuning and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR or other tools.
  • Maintaining infrastructure documentation, change management and asset tracking.
  • Collaborating with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Supporting Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and other core infrastructure services.
  • Providing L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participating in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades and cloud migration projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)
  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices
