As a seasoned cloud infrastructure professional, you will be responsible for leading the evaluation and transformation of existing enterprise cloud setups on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

About the Role

This key position involves:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of current GCP environments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies across projects.
  • Designing and modifying architectures using GCP services to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Managing the deployment and operation of workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and/or Compute Engine.
  • Configuring and optimizing Cloud SQL / Spanner / Memorystore / BigQuery solutions as needed.
  • Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with policy checks and environment promotion.
  • Implementing monitoring and alerting systems using Cloud Monitoring & Logging.
  • Enhancing security and advising on compliance best practices.
  • Optimizing costs through rightsizing, committed use/Autopilot, storage lifecycle management, and data egress pattern analysis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 3 years focused on GCP.
  • Deep knowledge of VPC design, routing/NAT, load balancing, IAM, GKE/containers, and Linux fundamentals.
  • A proven ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality results in regulated/enterprise contexts.
  • Excellent English oral communication skills.
