Advanced CAM Programmer RoleA skilled Advanced CAM Programmer is required to work on the development of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs, utilizing NX software.About the Job:
  • Create and generate high-quality CAM programs for 3D models, defining cutting tools and strategies.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop CAM Programs: Utilize NX software to create and generate CAM programs, ensuring optimal tool path simulations and NC code generation.
  • Validate Outputs: Perform thorough virtual simulations and validate outputs to ensure accuracy.
  • Process Inputs: Verify 3D models against 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures.
  • Support Production: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines, ensuring seamless production execution.
  • Quality Control: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed.
  • Documentation: Create setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.
  • Experience: 5 years (B.E.) or 8 years (Diploma) in NX CAM.
  • Skills: Knowledge of GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller.
