Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

This role is responsible for the development and optimization of numerical control programs and manufacturing processes for aerospace products. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production of high-quality components, adhering to industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create numerical control programs using CATIA V5 based on part geometry and programming guidelines.">
• Validate numerical control programs through Vericut Software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.">
• Develop setup sheets for machine operators to facilitate production.">
• Collaborate with aerospace manufacturing engineers on work packages, ensuring clear communication on project requirements and rework.">
• Work with production teams and vendors to enhance manufacturing processes and tooling design.">
• Ensure all numerical control programs and processes comply with safety and quality standards.">
• Participate in the review and validation of tool designs and manufacturing processes.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in NC programming using CATIA or similar software.

Experience in NC programming for 5-axis CNC machines is essential.

Knowledge of CATIA V5 and Vericut Software is required; experience in machining is preferred.

Familiarity with NC program optimization techniques is desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018) standards for mechanical design.

Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.

Ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings.

Skillset:

Expertise in 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and CAD/CAM design and manufacturing.

Familiarity with G-code and precision machining capabilities.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
