Director of Fundraising

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our fundraising efforts and secure diversified funding.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major-gifts and institutional fundraising, with experience launching or scaling new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a 3-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and by program.
  • Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including HNI networks, corporate partners, foundations, and digital communities.
  • Partner with the Communications team to run an integrated brand + fundraising calendar.
  • Lead fundraising efforts across the organization, collaborating with global teams.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Board-approved 3-year strategy and year-1 operating plan with segment-wise targets.
  • Live CRM with qualified prospects and at least one anchor gift or equivalent multi-year grant.
  • Two corporate/CSR partnerships with multi-year potential and one international foundation.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record (India & international).
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives in research, education, skill development, community empowerment preferred.
