Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy automated migration pipelines for transitioning enterprise Kafka workloads to open-source or cloud-native clusters.

- Implement script-driven migration steps, automate validation, rollback, and monitoring tasks using continuous integration/continuous deployment tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

- Develop and integrate custom plugins for Kafka Connect as part of migration workflows.

- Build scalable CI/CD processes for provisioning and configuring Kafka resources.

- Ensure comprehensive automated tests cover data integrity, performance, and integration interfaces post-migration.

- Integrate with cloud orchestration platforms like AWS MSK and Kubernetes operators, manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation.

  • Kafka administration and migration
