Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Organic Chemist to join our team in designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic compounds for various applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques, with hands-on experience in organic synthesis, purification, and characterization methods.

  • Conduct laboratory experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to drive innovation and advance research goals.
  • Design and execute efficient organic synthesis routes to target compounds, utilizing analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.
Requirements
  • PhD / Master's degree in organic chemistry / related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred, with proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in scientific research.
