About the Role

This role is for a Purchasing Executive-Civil located in Breman Chowk, Aundh Pune.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders and requisitions, handling procurement processes, and maintaining records of goods ordered and received.

They will also be involved in negotiating prices and contracts, ensuring supplier deliveries in accordance with project schedules, and liaising between suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Purchase Orders Management:
  • Manage purchase orders and requisitions to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Procurement Processes:
  • Handle procurement processes from initiation to completion, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received, including inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for money.
  • Liaison:
  • Liaise with suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Experience with purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and purchase management.
  • Strong communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in procurement processes and techniques.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
