Project Managers lead and direct construction projects to ensure timely completion of milestones according to the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to guarantee smooth project progression.
  • Manage resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.
  • Monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Document site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurements.
  • Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work invoices.
  • Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Resolve site-related technical issues in collaboration with project managers and consultants.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of construction methods and industry standards
  • Proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of CAD software, MS Office, and project planning tools (desired)
  • Effective leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Flexibility to work at project sites across regions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site design, land development, and permitting
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design abilities
