Job Title: Senior Director

The Senior Director role is a senior position that involves ownership of a specific body of work and providing support to the organization for other parts.

  1. Directly owns a certain body of work and provides support to the RWD organization for other parts.

This includes shaping how the work is funnelled to the offshore team and optimizing how the work is delivered. The most critical aspect is to be responsible for quality checking the outputs to align with commitments made to clients.

The RWD team aims to productize our offerings. One key asset to lead up to this is the ability to create indication-specific data lakes that can be used as delivery accelerators.

  1. Responsibilities:
  2. Leads a team of analysts that support the RFP process for the team, turning around accurate responses to support our pre-sales/sales teams.
  3. Provides guidance and oversight for the consulting delivery work.
  4. Building Indication Specific Data Lakes.
  5. Team management and leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A proven track record of leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience.
  2. A post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics, or a post-grad degree in CS, Math or equivalent with exposure of no less than 5-7 years in core data science algorithm development.
  3. At least 7-10 years of experience in leading teams that work in a globally distributed setup delivering consulting work, preferably in Data Science and Data Engineering oriented domains.
  4. Total of 15-18 years of work experience with 80% or more of the most recent experience being in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains.
