Job Title: Corporate Counsel

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for monitoring and mitigating risk and compliance issues, implementing appropriate mitigation/remediation solutions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on reviewing and drafting policies, guidelines, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance.
  • Offer advice on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention management.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance and risk management by advising on disclosure requirements, interacting with external vendors, and incident response.
  • Cooperate in complying with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions, including reviewing policy documents and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • LLB/LLM degree with relevant experience as a compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations, including data privacy, cyber security, and immigration laws.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
