Job Opportunity

As a Simulation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing simulation models for powertrain and after-treatment systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating accurate simulations that help optimize engine performance and emissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Simulation Development: Design and develop complex simulation models using GT-Power and Python to simulate powertrain systems, including component and system modeling and optimization.
  • Tool Programming: Program simulation tools to automate data analysis and visualization.
  • Function Development: Create and develop functions for engine and after-treatment systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing software frameworks.
  • Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements and goals to ensure simulation models meet technical specifications.
  • Model Integration: Combine modules into larger systems/functions, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Model Building: Develop detailed models, including subsystems, defining boundary conditions to mimic real-world scenarios.
  • Software Development: Develop software function units, integrating simulation results with existing software frameworks.
  • Calibration and Testing: Calibrate and test parameters to ensure accuracy and reliability of simulation models.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of physics and chemistry, as well as technical fields like internal combustion engines, exhaust aftertreatment, and on-board diagnostics.

Tools and Technologies:

Familiarity with GT-Power and Python programming languages.
