Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance and Release Lead to drive the quality and timely release of our products. This role involves defining testing procedures, implementing test automation, and certifying readiness for release to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Comprehensive Testing Strategies: Develop and implement thorough testing plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Implement Test Automation Tools: Choose and implement test automation tools and strategies to streamline testing processes.
  • Certify Software Readiness: Approve software readiness for production releases by ensuring all testing procedures have been met.
  • Ensure Proper Documentation: Collaborate with development teams to ensure Jira work items include agreed-upon definitions of done (DoD) for proper text coverage.
  • Seamless Integration and Deployment: Work with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software releases.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Release Management: Demonstrated expertise in ensuring high-quality software releases.
  • Strong Knowledge of Test Automation Tools and Methodologies: Familiarity with various test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and Project Management Tools: Proficient in using Jira and other project management tools to manage software releases.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Experienced in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Atlassian Cloud Platform: Familiarity with the Atlassian Cloud platform.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment Practices: Understanding of CI/CD practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
