Job Title: Automotive Embedded Hardware Director

This role is responsible for the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical hardware design tasks independently
  • Review customer specifications and ensure compliance to requirements
  • Design and develop automotive products with microcontrollers, SOC's, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and analog/digital control logic
  • Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to guarantee compliance to customer requirements
  • Support product design reviews and maintain change management structure
  • Develop and maintain electrical DFMEA
  • Generate electrical information for PCB layout and support ECAD designers
  • Support hardware prototype build and testing
  • Utilize structured problem-solving techniques for test failure resolution
  • Present product design, analysis, and testing to customers
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in embedded hardware design and development
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, SOC's, and high-speed memory
  • Experience with LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and analog/digital control logic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
