Modem Hardware Modeling, Senior Engineer

Contribute to the development of flagship modem core IP covering 5G and 4G technologies. Collaborate with a team to define and develop next-generation multi-mode 5G modems.

Work on developing and verifying hardware models of modem core IP using C++ and SystemC platforms. These models serve as golden references for RTL verification and pre-silicon FW development (virtual prototyping).

Key requirements include expertise in C++, good exposure to SystemC, System Verilog, or Matlab. Familiarity with HW micro-architecture and modeling abstraction is essential.

Desired skills include working knowledge of physical layer wireless technologies like NR, LTE, WLAN, and Bluetooth. Expertise in digital signal processing and experience in HW modeling or RTL design/verification of IP are preferred.

Candidates with software/FW background on wireless IP and strong technical knowhow on non-wireless DSP based HW IPs will also be considered.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 1+ year of hardware engineering experience.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
