Our design team is focused on solving tough challenges for India using design, innovation, strategy, UX, brand, and narrative. As a UX Design intern, you will play a key role in piloting our app and future products, currently focussed on private security guards in the Private Security Industry, and then move beyond it.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Thinking: Participate in brainstorming and design thinking sprints, observing and learning from the process.
  2. Research: Assist in field studies, usability testing, user interviews, and documentation of insights to inform design decisions.
  3. UI + Visuals: Contribute to wireframes, UI screens, icons, and prototypes in Figma, ensuring a cohesive visual language.
  4. Prototyping: Support in creating low-to-mid fidelity prototypes, refining interactions and transitions to enhance user experience.
  5. Testing & Iteration: Observe and conduct basic usability tests, prepare feedback reports, and iterate on designs to ensure optimal results.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and outreach teams to turn insights into features that meet user needs.

As a UX Design intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside senior Designers, Researchers, and outreach teams, collaborating on real-world challenges through design, innovation, UX research, and storytelling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Graduate in Design or a related field, with an industry-recognized certification in UX and a strong portfolio.
  2. 0-2 years of experience in UX Design, with a passion for continued learning and growth.
  3. Proficient in design software, including Figma and Miro, with familiarity in slide-presentation, video-editing, word processing, spreadsheets, and AI tools.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures and languages.
  5. Openness to fieldwork and user research, with a willingness to learn and adapt new tools and methodologies.
