Enterprise Data Migration Strategist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and execution of an end-to-end data migration strategy for enterprise systems. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the successful migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, quality, compliance, and minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities- Migration Strategy Development: Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic for a seamless migration process.
- Execution & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of data migration activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation. Manage migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
- Data Quality and Governance: Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
- Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
