KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Global IT Software Engineer Manager at Boston Consulting Group, you will oversee the design, development, and technical support of global HR IT integrations. You will collaborate with a team of internal and external developers, as well as a cross-functional team consisting of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and others to provide high-quality integrations that meet the business needs of the entire organization. You will be expected to provide technical guidance, oversight, and coordination of development resources to successfully execute projects and support tasks.

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with Workday.
  • Have overall responsibility for the health of the core HR integrations, in terms of quality of the program code and operational effectiveness, from a technical standpoint.
  • Plan and execute releases, making sure all deployment and rollback steps are documented and tested, and plans are coordinated and communicated appropriately.
  • Maintain integrations between tools, with an emphasis on optimizing performance and enforcing single-source-of-truth design principles.
  • Troubleshoot reported support tickets and provide timely analysis and resolution.
  • Stay abreast of current development tools, trends, and practices, and act as an evangelist for items that should be considered for future initiatives.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

    • Strong software design and architecture knowledge, able to identify optimal designs for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
