Job Role Overview:

The Specialist Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing services on Messaging and file transfer technologies, ensuring effective and efficient management of MTS services to end-users and application teams.

  • Manage a skilled team and onboard resources for user support
  • Develop and implement automation best practices to improve efficiency
  • Handle critical escalations and ensure timely resolution
  • Work independently, propose innovative solutions, and collaborate globally

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing infrastructure, including availability, service quality, and legacy systems
  • Incident, Change, Request, and Release Management to ensure smooth operations
  • Asset, license, and capacity management to optimize performance
  • Resiliency, DR process, and Business Continuity Planning to ensure high availability

Required skills include ITIL V3 knowledge, Agile Certifications, and Shell Scripting expertise.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

  • 4-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure related field
  • Engineering graduate or equivalent qualification
