International Financial Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**

As a senior financial professional, you will oversee international financial operations across multiple offices. This role ensures the accuracy and transparency of global financial reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the development of efficient financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the preparation and accuracy of international financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Assist with timely month-end and year-end closing processes for all international offices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to support audit requirements across regions.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with global tax laws, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions.
  • Participate in the global budgeting process and assist in consolidating financial data across regions.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics including cash flow, profitability, and budget variances.
  • Provide support for financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Assist in managing global cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize working capital.
  • Support initiatives to streamline fund transfers across international entities and manage foreign exchange exposures.
  • Help monitor currency gains/losses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for transactions involving multiple currencies across global entities.
  • Ensure compliance with currency conversion policies and FX rate applications.
  • Work with finance teams to reconcile currency gains/losses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Identify and support improvements in financial processes to drive global consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across regions.
  • Assist in ERP and financial system integrations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices and reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
  • Act as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership on financial matters.
  • Assist in preparing financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Support business risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis for international projects.
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning efforts in collaboration with senior finance leadership.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting field. CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 6–10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and international taxation.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
