We are seeking a highly skilled Server Infrastructure Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively monitoring and managing the health of our server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex problems will be essential in maintaining the high level of service our customers expect from us.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring and Management: Proactively monitor server infrastructure, CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital parameters to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, working closely with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Issue Reporting: Report performance issues and technical errors to the appropriate teams for prompt resolution.
- Scheduled Tasks: Monitor scheduled tasks on the system, ensuring successful completion and rerunning tasks in case of failures.
- Communication: Update items/tickets with initial responses, gather more details from business/end-users or other teams as required, and provide inputs to L2 team members.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in Java, scripting, and written/verbal communication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
