Job Description

This role entails working as a technical architect in our new Mumbai office, embedded within our global delivery framework. You will work under the guidance of senior architects/project leaders and participate in design development, BIM-based documentation, and construction detailing.

Depending on your level of experience, you will:

  • Work on projects in India as well as collaborate on international assignments across Europe and Latin America.
  • Gain structured exposure to global workflows, quality assurance standards, and multi-disciplinary coordination.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading or significantly contributing to the planning, design, detailing, and documentation of architectural projects.
  • Coordinating with global teams using BIM/Revit platforms to ensure consistent design delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with Indian codes, local bylaws, and global best practices.
  • Participating in client meetings, preparing design presentations, drawings, and reports.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members (Architectural Assistants/Technologists).
  • Overseeing construction documentation and collaborating with contractors/consultants during execution phases.
  • Contributing to quality assurance reviews and implementing our global technical standards.

The preferred professional experience includes:

  • Demonstrated Revit proficiency.
  • Experience across at least two project stages (concept, schematic, DD, GFC, construction).
  • Exposure to commercial sectors (Data Centres, Retail, Workplace, Logistics, Hospitality) highly valued.
  • Previous work experience with international client organisations or global design firms desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodology, detailing, and Indian building codes.
  • For senior candidates: proven ability to manage deliverables, coordinate teams, and engage with clients.

You should be an Indian resident, available to work full-time on-site in Mumbai. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. You should also be available to join within 3 months of offer. Proficiency in design software (Revit mandatory; knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, Navisworks is an advantage).

  • BIM/Revit Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in BIM/Revit is essential for this role.
  • Commercial Sector Experience: Exposure to commercial sectors such as Data Centres, Retail, Workplace, Logistics, and Hospitality is highly valued.
  • Project Stage Experience: Experience across at least two project stages (concept, schematic, DD, GFC, construction) is required.
  • International Client Organisation Experience: Previous work experience with international client organisations or global design firms is desirable.
  • Construction Methodology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methodology, detailing, and Indian building codes is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: For senior candidates: proven ability to manage deliverables, coordinate teams, and engage with clients.
