Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Summary

As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative mechanical products. To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience using CAD software with a strong focus on attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mechanical systems and components based on fundamental engineering principles.
  • Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications utilizing advanced CAD software.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations throughout the design process.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and design optimization opportunities to enhance product efficiency.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design cycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment is vital.
