Job Opportunity in Computational Biology

We are seeking an experienced computational biologist to lead the analysis of complex biological data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing novel pipelines and analytical tools for various applications including genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics.

  • Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for omics data analysis.
  • Work with a diverse range of customers/partners in drug discovery and development.
  • Present research findings and scientific hypotheses to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or related field.
  • Expertise in programming/scripting languages such as R, Python, shell-script for complex data analysis.
  • Experience with Docker and Nextflow.
  • Strong understanding of current best practices in computational biology data-management.
Desirable Skills:
  • Machine learning.
  • Population genomics, including GWAS, eQTL/pQTL analyses.
  • Linux environment or cloud computing (AWS/GCP).
  • Relational database such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
