Axtria - Ingenious Insights: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our Data Science Practice at Axtria - Ingenious Insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new capabilities to drive growth and improve healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft winning proposals to grow the Data Science Practice.
  • Develop and operationalize scalable processes for large and complex client engagements.
  • Ensure profitable delivery and great customer experience through end-to-end solution design, team management, and established processes.
  • Build and nurture A-teams by hiring the required skills sets and creating a supporting environment for strong delivery teams.
  • Train and mentor staff, establish best practices, and enhance data science capabilities through continuous learning and development.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by writing white papers, collaborating with academia, and participating in relevant forums.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate or PhD degree in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in the end-to-end automated ecosystem, including building data pipelines, developing and deploying scalable models, orchestration, scheduling, automation, and ML operations.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytics techniques and interpret outcomes of analytical models into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Expertise in data management, data modeling, data quality, dev ops, data migration, and data structure integration.
  • Knowledge of advanced AI/ML algorithms, NLP, deep learning frameworks, computer vision, and ability to build scalable models using Python, R-Studio, R Shiny, PySpark, Keras, and Tensorflow.
  • Relevant mastery in feature engineering, feature selection, and model validation on Big Data.
  • Experience in delivering data science projects leveraging cloud infrastructure, familiarity with cloud technology such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of AWS tools like S3, EMR, EC2, Redshift, Glue, viz tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Build and train neural network architectures such as CNN, RNN, LSTMs, and Transformers.
