Key Role Summary (50 words)

  • Effective cash flow management across diverse project Special Purpose Vehicles and optimal fund utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate the issuance of Capital Expenditure Letters of Credit (Capex LCs) and manage Buyer's Credit / Supplier's Credit arrangements for timely project execution.
  2. Invest surplus funds in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits, ensuring maximum returns while maintaining liquidity.
  3. Ensure timely interest and principal repayments for project loans by coordinating with banks and vendors.
  4. Maintain accurate records of advances and Performance Bank Guarantees (BGs) received from vendors/BGs issued to third parties.
  5. Oversee Inter Corporate Deposit (ICD) issuance, limit monitoring, and documentation to minimize risks.
  6. Prepare treasury accounting entries on a daily basis for transparency and accuracy.
  7. Manage foreign exchange hedging activities, including bank documentation, to mitigate currency risks.
  8. Lead Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance for all bank accounts and drive digital initiatives such as Hand-to-Hand (H2H), net banking, and automation of transactions to enhance efficiency.
  9. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with banks, addressing operational matters and resolving issues promptly.
  10. Submit treasury-related details in a timely manner, coordinate audits, and respond to audit queries to ensure compliance.
  11. Compile monthly Treasury Management Information System (TMIS) reports, including loan summaries, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  12. Support new project financing activities, loan documentation, and collaborate with internal teams (Accounts, Projects, Procurement) for seamless treasury operations.
