We are seeking a skilled SOC L2- Security Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to work with us in a dynamic environment. As a SOC L2- Security Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to our Level 1 Team with analytical feedback.
  • Investigate incidents, collect evidence, diagnose issues, recover within defined SLAs, and close incidents.
  • Understand information security policies and best practices in our environments.
  • Inform management on proactive and reactive actions to ensure adherence to security policy.
  • Review metrics from monitoring systems and be aware of patterns and anomalies.
  • Perform incident response to eliminate threats to the network and determine causes while preserving evidence for further analysis.
  • Ensure incidents are handled consistently with established playbooks.
  • Monitor SIEM and logging for alerts of potential network threats, intrusions, and compromises.
  • Stay up-to-date with global threat environments and general security best practices.
  • Assist with service requests from automated sensors and internal assistance requests.
  • Participate in active cyber hunting to identify and eliminate known and unknown network threats.
  • Collaborate with technical personnel to rapidly resolve critical issues.
  • Inform and advise leadership on incidents and propose effective responses and/or countermeasures for containment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in Information Security and 3+ years managing SOC teams.
  • Knowledge of industry-recognized analysis frameworks (Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Incident Response, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing Fundamentals, EDR, DLP, Firewall.
  • A thorough understanding of fundamental security and network concepts (Operating systems, intrusion/detection, TCP/IP, ports, etc.).
