Documentation Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization as a Documentation Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals and guides.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain User Manuals for model libraries and tools methodologies.
  • Develop documentation in DITA XML using Oxygen Author adhering to established guidelines and build the doc package using standard templates.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and design teams to seek inputs and handle doc reviews for completion.
  • Ensure timely release of documents in line with scheduled product releases.
  • Ensure accuracy of documents within short turnaround times.
  • Keep documents up to date with changing customer requirements and technological advancements.
  • Proactively track and coordinate with other technical writers for current/upcoming assignments.
  • Assist Product development teams in reviewing and editing Internal Documentation etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and temperament.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with XML code and Python code for creating and maintaining doc contents and required automations.
  • Accountability for tasks assigned.
  • Good team player.
  • Tools: Mandatory - DITA XML authoring, Familiarity with XML code. Preferred - VS Code, Adobe Acrobat, MS-Office, Screen Capturing tool, Version Control System - GitHub.
