Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a high-level technical role that requires advanced proficiency in scripting and/or development using Python, Powershell, Bash, or a comparable language.

  • As a Senior Engineer in our Threat Vulnerability and Compliance team, you will be responsible for managing a suite of security applications serving stakeholders within the information security department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an administrator for security-focused application environments.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior team members, providing guidance and technical expertise in system administration, scripting, and application customization.
  • Architect and implement automation solutions to streamline security workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security tools with existing infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements.
  • Lead break/fix activities, working with vendor support when necessary.
  • Advocate for organizational requirements and ensure effective utilization of security tools.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of Information Security experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field is also required.

Additionally, experience in system administration, particularly in Windows and Linux environments, is essential. A deep understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, OCI, Azure, and AWS is also required.
