Key Role: Data Quality Specialist

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data assets. The successful individual will be responsible for developing and implementing data quality rules, validation checks, and metrics to guarantee high-quality data.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement data quality rules and metrics to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop monitoring pipelines and alerts to detect data issues proactively.
  • Conduct regular data profiling and quality assessments to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and other anomalies.
  • Design and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to provide visibility into trends and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage and resolve data quality issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a data quality or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Git Hub, R, Python, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and data transformation tools.
  • Ability to build and interpret dashboards and communicate data quality findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
