About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and deployment of cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical direction of projects, mentor team members, and deliver scalable and efficient systems using cloud and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Processing Systems Lead: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data processing systems using Java and Apache Spark in a cloud environment.
  • Big Data Architect: Architect and implement big data processing pipelines utilizing technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Serverless Applications Developer: Develop serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to build efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Container Orchestration Expert: Use container orchestration tools like Amazon EKS to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Workflow Orchestration Specialist: Design workflow orchestration solutions for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services.
  • Tech Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Solution Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize solution performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Java Development Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Apache Spark Proficiency: Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Cloud Platforms Experience: Experience with cloud platforms and services like EMR, Lambda, EKS, Airflow.
  • Serverless Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  • Leadership and Team Mentoring Experience: Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
