Senior IP Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage key Intellectual Property-related matters. This includes overseeing end-to-end processes for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive IP strategies for clients.
  • Advise on protection, enforcement, and commercialization of IP assets.
  • Draft, review, and file national & international patent applications, oppositions, assignments, and licensing agreements.
  • Present cases in IPR litigation and enforcement actions, including appearances before the relevant authorities.
  • Conduct thorough IP due diligence, freedom to operate (FTO), and infringement analysis.
  • Liaise with external counsels, authorities, and international associates for cross-border IP matters.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring knowledge development and quality delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise on emerging trends, legal amendments, and case laws related to Intellectual Property.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M). Registration as a Patent Agent is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in IP law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Superior communication, leadership, and client-handling abilities.
  • A proven track record in managing complex IPR portfolios and high-stakes litigation.
