As a visionary leader, you will spearhead our Primary Years Programme (PYP), cultivating an inclusive environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and review the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines, fostering a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Cultivate transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences, collaborating with teachers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff, enhancing teaching practices and school standards.
  • Promote understanding of the PYP among parents and the school community, encouraging parental involvement and support.
  • Coordinate student assessments, maintaining accurate records as per IB requirements, ensuring student progress and growth.
  • Stay updated with IB developments and changes, guaranteeing adherence to IB standards, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification, showcasing expertise in the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching, accompanied by a deep understanding of the IB framework, highlighting leadership potential and commitment to professional growth.
