Key Responsibilities

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high product quality through automation testing efforts. Your primary goal is to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on quality goals.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Identify and address edge cases early in the lifecycle, considering factors such as time zones, Unicode, and scaling boundaries.
  • Work with automation engineers to enhance CI/CD pipeline integration and coverage.
  • Proactively identify quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead root cause analyses of production issues and drive systemic improvements.
  • Report key quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and test architecture.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have proficiency in:

  • Automation (80-90% of day in/out)
  • Solid Selenium/Playwright experience
  • Proficiency in Python/Java
  • Jenkins or any other CI/CD
  • Experience in API Automation
