Lead User Interface Developer
This position requires a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead the user experience and technical direction of our eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of frontend technologies, a proven track record in architecting and scaling solutions in an eCommerce environment, and strong leadership skills to mentor and guide developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Architecture: Provide technical leadership for the UI development team, define and drive the architectural vision for scalable and high-performance frontend solutions within an eCommerce ecosystem, guide the team in adopting best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Design & Development: Oversee the design and development of user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and GraphQL, ensure the implementation of visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive designs that align with business objectives, deep understanding and hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.), advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with offshore and onsite teams to define and deliver cohesive and high-quality outcomes, foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, provide guidance, mentorship, and technical coaching to frontend developers, helping them enhance their skills and grow professionally.
- E-commerce Domain Expertise: Leverage strong understanding of eCommerce domain specific challenges and solutions, including conversion optimization, A/B testing, and analytics tools.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Possess excellent customer-interfacing skills to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations effectively.
- Quality Assurance & Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, conduct regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to technical standards.
- Technology Adoption: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in frontend development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 10-14 years of overall IT experience, with more than 8 years in a leadership capacity within an IT environment.
- Mandatory Skills: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, GraphQL, E-commerce Domain, Frontend Technologies, Leadership, Architectural Exposure, Communication.
- Good to Have Skills: E-commerce Platforms, Cloud Technologies, DevOps.
