As an Application Packaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless deployment of software within customer environments.

About the Role

This position requires a professional with strong technical expertise to oversee the application packaging process, adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the most suitable packaging and delivery approach for each application, executing the necessary steps to deliver high-quality packaged applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packaging and delivery of applications using diverse tools and technologies
  • Technical testing and documentation of packaged applications
  • Deployment and maintenance of packaged applications
  • Incident resolution and request fulfillment related to packages
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders, including change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, employing available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks
  • Knowledge of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in preparing applications for Citrix environment
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • Proficiency in English language
