Job Overview

As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our CROs supporting scientific functions and projects. Reporting to the ORE team members, your key responsibilities will be to manage operational aspects, drive efficient logistics, and foster collaboration with scientific functions.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of CROs, providing oversight and support to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective infrastructure solutions for outsourcing scientific activities, including invoice reconciliation, sample retention logistics, data QC, process automation, and scientific material stewardship.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for operation and logistics of outsourcing requests, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with scientific functions to guarantee assay performance and data quality.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation, identify issues, and propose mitigating plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Design and develop tools for data handling and processing, such as data QC and analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and operational policies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Ideal Background

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Data Science, or other relevant scientific disciplines.

Languages

English is required.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech research.
  • Expertise in areas such as in vivo PK, in vitro ADME, preclinical safety profiling, biochemical and cellular assays, NGS, biologics, customs & shipping logistics, with a strong background in data analytics.
  • Experience in data analytics, process automation, and database applications.
